Atwima Boko, Kumasi — Est. for the community
Oaktree Farms grows organic vegetables, raises free-range poultry and produces fresh dairy on our integrated farm just outside Kumasi — using practices that protect the land for the next harvest.
Our story
Oaktree Farms brings together vegetable plots, a poultry house and a small dairy herd on one site in Atwima Boko, just outside Kumasi. Each part of the farm feeds the others — manure enriches our beds, crop waste feeds our birds, and healthy soil keeps everything growing season after season.
We believe good food should strengthen the community around it. That means fair prices for local families, fresh produce that doesn't travel far, and a farm that creates steady work for people nearby.
No synthetic pesticides — compost, crop rotation and natural pest control keep our vegetables clean.
Poultry litter and dairy waste are composted and returned to the vegetable beds.
Local hiring, fair pricing and produce that reaches Kumasi markets within a day of harvest.

Growing together
We work with the people of Atwima Boko and the wider Kumasi area — through fair wages, knowledge-sharing and produce priced for local households, not just export markets.
Most of our farm hands, drivers and processing staff are hired from villages around Atwima Boko.
We share organic growing techniques with neighbouring smallholders and source surplus produce from trusted local growers.
A share of every harvest is set aside for Kumasi market stalls at prices that keep fresh food affordable nearby.
